Our Purpose

CONVERGENCE Memphis is a partnership with the Mortgage Bankers Association and the Tennessee Housing Development Agency, which was created to advance the mission of increasing Black homeownership in the Memphis area.

CONVERGENCE Memphis aims to promote affordable housing and increase Black homeownership by hosting homebuyer fairs, offering financial education courses, and providing affordable housing practitioners the tools they need to improve their outreach strategies.

CONVERGENCE Memphis provides reliable information to support affordable housing opportunities for first-time homebuyers. Our industry partners are well-positioned to provide resources to the Memphis community.
